Besen kesar ladoo

Sweets are one of the most glorious aspects of cooking and a happy celebration is not complete without a traditional sweet . Besan kesar laddo is one these, liked by almost everyone. I wanna celebrate My first achievement with these soft , tempting sweets and also share with all my blogger friends..


Ingredients:
  • Besan or chickpea flour: 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar : 1/2 cup
  • Ghee : 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder : a pinch
  • Saffron threads : 4-5
  • Almonds : 4 


















Procedure:
  1. Heat a pan and fry the chickpea flour till a nice aroma starts coming from it.
  2. Pour melted ghee into the flour and fry on a low flame stirring continuously till the flour turns to light brown color.
  3. Put off the stove and let it cool.
  4. Mix together sugar powder , cardamom powder and saffron  .
  5. Once the flour cools down, mix the sugar with the flour and make round laddoos of a small lemon size.
  6. Garnish with almonds and saffron threads.
Serves : 5
